Improvement in customer service
Customer service can be improved on - we had a misunderstanding because I had quoted one-bedroom instead of a room and a parlour. I sincerely thought a room and a parlour is also called a one-bedroom apartment.
Surprisingly, this vendor was not open to a peaceful and polite way to resolve the issue - he was focused on proving that he was right.
He also became passive aggressive as he insisted that I bring over one of the items (a 3-seater) I wanted to clean. The chair was only 3 houses away and it would have been more convenient and quite easy for him to go there instead. He insisted on me bringing this over in retaliation because I had mentioned that the chair was 3 houses away when he first came in and he had no issues with it.
He also carried on the task from then with an unwelcoming countenance to the extent that a friend who came around noticed this.
He could have had a better approach and attitude - conflict resolution skills are a must for every business person.
The quality of service delivered was average as his cleaning did not get to some nooks and crannies.
